Z104 SHAGGFEST 2012

AT THE VIRGINIA BEACH SPORTSPLEX

Shaggfest 2012 was what we would call a complete success. Thousands of people gathered at the Sportsplex in Virginia Beach for this all day event. The day began with a vast array of remarkably talented local artists performing on alternating stages. While the lineup was already stuffed with hot acts like Kirko Bangz, Bei Major, T. Mills, and Dev; Shaggy also managed to pack the entire day full of surprise guest performers to include Mr. Cheeks - The Lost Boyz and Lil' Mo and more. Blackstreet had all the ladies going crazy with Teddy Riley and Dave Hollister on the stage. Fam-Lay and VABP showed us what they've been up to. We can say they ain't slacking. Super producer Timbaland headlined this amazing musical festival bringing back two of Virginia's hottest artists to perform alongside him. Magoo brought back many memories with his "Up Jumps da Boogie" performance. He had the whole crowd hype with all the paper as he was throwing at them. Timbaland surprised everyone when Missy Elliott hit the stage with her hot hot hot new look. She shocked everyone when she jumped in the crowd to get closer to her fans. We've got that footage, too!

Timbaland and Missy both announced the have new albums dropping this year. Be on the lookout for Shock Value III by Timbaland and sources say we may finally be able to get the long-awaited Block Party by Missy Elliott. Both are due to release June 2012!

Z104 Shaggfest is the BIGGEST BLOCK PARTY to hit the 757! We are definitely anticipating what surprises Shaggy will hit us with next year!
